In week four of Active Faith we do a thorough study of the First Amendment. We evaluate the quotations from the men who drafted the first amendment (including the "establishment clause" and the "free exercise" clause). Then we compare and contrast the Founders and Framers original ideas with contemporary judicial activists and revisionist historians who want us to believe that the Founders intended to separate the church from having any influence in government. The evidence to the contrary is overwhelming.
