Jericho is an extension of the 40 Days For Life Campaign. It is
an organized prayer and sidewalk counseling ministry intended
to offer concerned Christians an opportunity once per month to
pray at the Planned Parenthood abortion mill in Riverside. Those
with a heart for counseling may also engage in sidewalk counseling.
Churches
from the Corona-Norco area have adopted the second Saturday
of each month as the appointed date for their participation. Churches
from Riverside or other areas may want to dedicate other
Saturdays of the month as their date to cover this abortion mill
with prayer and sidewalk counseling so that there will always
be a Christian presence at this killing center. If we all do just
a little bit then this goal is easily attainable.
Modeled
after the Biblical account of the destruction of Jericho,
as recorded in Joshua chapter six, Project Jericho encourages
the physical presence of God's people onsite,
and, in accordance with the Biblical account, particularly
God's chosen "priests" or clergy.
